Location & Parking

The law school is located in Hulston Hall, in the heart of the University of Missouri campus.

Convenient parking is available in Turner Avenue Parking Garage, located two blocks west of the law school. Metered visitor parking is available on levels 3, 6 and 7. Each visitor space is numbered; unnumbered spaces require a parking permit. Park in any numbered space and note the number. Fee machines are located at each stairwell.

There are many ways to reach the University of Missouri campus. Online maps may suggest a different route than listed below. These directions are the most direct route to the law school and appropriate parking garage.

By Car

From the East (St. Louis) via Interstate 70 West

  • Take Columbia exit for U.S. Route 63 (exit 128A), turn left (south) at the top of the exit ramp.
  • Take the Stadium Boulevard exit and turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
  • Follow Stadium Boulevard to Tiger Avenue (approximately two miles).
  • Turn right onto Tiger Avenue, just after Monk Drive.
  • Follow Tiger Avenue through campus to Turner Avenue.
  • Turn left onto Turner Avenue. Turner Avenue Parking Garage will be on your right.
  • Find a numbered spot on the visitor level, note the number and pay at the machine by stairwell on the ground floor.
  • On foot, exit the garage on the east end.
  • As you exit the parking garage, you will see a large red brick building in front of you. This is the Reynolds Alumni Center. Walk around the Alumni Center and cross the quadrangle. The home of the law school, Hulston Hall, will be directly in front of you.

    School-of-LawFrom the West (Kansas City) via Interstate 70 East

  • Take the Columbia exit for Stadium Boulevard (exit 124).
  • Turn right (south) at the top of the exit ramp.
  • Follow Stadium Boulevard through several stoplights to campus (approximately four miles).
  • Immediately past the football stadium, make a left onto Tiger Avenue.
  • Follow Tiger Avenue through campus to Turner Avenue.
  • Turn left onto Turner Avenue. Turner Parking Garage will be on your right.
  • Find a numbered spot on the visitor level, note the number and pay at the machine by stairwell on the ground floor.

From the North (Kirksville) or South (Jefferson City) via U.S. Route 63

  • From U.S. Route 63, take the Stadium Boulevard exit.
  • Turn west (left if you were traveling north on the highway, right if you were traveling south).
  • Follow Stadium Boulevard to Tiger Avenue (approximately two miles).
  • Turn right onto Tiger Avenue, just after Monk Drive.
  • Follow Tiger Avenue through campus to Turner Avenue.
  • Turn left and Turner Parking Garage will be on your right.
  • On foot, exit the garage on the east end.

By Air

Flying to Kansas City or St. Louis

Columbia is equidistant from Kansas City and St. Louis, providing two options for air travel — Kansas City International Airport (airport code MCI) or Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (airport code STL). From either airport, a rental car or airport shuttle will be necessary for travel to Columbia. Allow at least two hours for this drive.

Flying to Columbia

The Columbia Regional Airport (airport code COU) is served by American Airlines, with daily non-stop flights from Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The airport is located off of U.S. Route 63, approximately 12 miles south of the University of Missouri campus. Ground transportation is available by shuttle and taxi or car rental through Hertz and Enterprise.
