Ronald A. Norwood graduated from the University of Illinois in 1982 with a B.S. in Journalism. He went on to earn his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri in 1986. While in law school, Norwood was on the Board of Editors of the Missouri Law Review, earned Top Oralist honors in Moot Court, and received the UMC School of Law Scholarship. Additionally, Norwood was active in Phi Alpha Delta and served as President of the Black Law Student's Association. After graduating from law school, Norwood clerked for two years for the Honorable Scott O. Wright, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Norwood joined the litigation department of Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, L.C. in 1998. His areas of practice include banking and commercial litigation; environmental, chemical, and toxic tort; insurance; labor and employment; and media and communications. Norwood is also a disciplinary hearing officer for the Missouri Supreme Court and a member of numerous legal associations in both Missouri and Illinois.
