The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.

Hello! My name is Rebekah Allen and I'm a 3L. As a military child, I've lived all over the United States. I went to the University of Kentucky (and yes, I do "bleed blue" for the UK Wildcats) for my undergraduate degree, a BA in English. I came to the University of Missouri for its dual degree program of a Juris Doctor and a Masters of Health Administration. Attending Mizzou has allowed me to revisit the Midwest, an area of the United States that I always enjoyed. Mizzou is perfectly situated in Missouri. With Columbia situated between Kansas City and St. Louis, and only a little north of the capital, I can get all the exposure to big city law firms and the highest levels of the state court without having to abandon the small town environment. And quite frankly there simply is no denying Mizzou's mastery of alternative dispute resolution and it definitely was a major influence on my decision to attend.
Attending law school here at Mizzou has been amazing. The faculty and staff have been super supportive while the classes--as you might expect--are incredibly challenging. I encourage you to come and visit us and experience Mizzou for yourself. Don't hesitate to contact me about law school or admissions or life here in Columbia!
