The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.

Hi, I’m Jeremy, and I’m a 3L. I’m a native of St. Louis (Marquette High School), and attended Washington University as an undergrad. I graduated in 2003 with a triple major in finance, human resources, and management. While in school I was active in my fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, student government, and university administrative committees. Today I proudly continue to serve Beta as a district chief, and Wash. U. as a member of the alumni admissions program.
I’m a non-traditional law student because I spent five and a half years in the workforce before returning to academia. My career thus far includes three years as a buyer for a major national retailer and almost another three years as national sales director for a human resources consulting firm. I wouldn’t trade the experience I’ve gained for anything, and am happy to talk with you about returning to law school “later” in life.
I chose Mizzou Law for many reasons, but primarily because, in contrast to my alma mater, it offers a unique cultural experience. When I visited MU for the first time as an admitted student, it just felt like home. Everyone here is friendly, approachable, and down-to-earth—even the faculty! The choice of a law school is both tough and critical, and I encourage you to do as I did: go with your gut. As far as the details go, my fellow Ambassadors and I are at your service!
