Hi! I am Mary Cile Glover-Rogers and I am from Cleveland, Mississippi. I attended Ole Miss for undergraduate, where I obtained a B.B.A. in Marketing Communications. While at Ole Miss, I was very involved in campus life.  I served as student body vice-president, was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, and I was eventually named into the University of Mississippi Hall of Fame and elected Miss Ole Miss. After graduation, I took a year off of school and had the opportunity to live and work in Hamilton, Montana, Nashville, Tennessee, and Los Angeles, California.

You may be thinking, why would a girl from Mississippi be attending law school in Missouri? Making the decision on which law school to attend was an extremely tough choice for me.  However, throughout the entire process, I kept being drawn back to Mizzou because I felt that everybody at the school really had my best interests at heart. All of the faculty and staff want to see each student succeed.

Well, there are so many reasons why I am here and I absolutely love it!  First and foremost, Mizzou has a world-class admissions staff that is extremely helpful and will continue to be helpful throughout your law school career. The law school is a top-notch school with many ways to specialize in the law. The alternative dispute resolution program, journalism specialization certificates, and dual degree options are great ways to expand your JD. Also, Columbia is a very impressive town, which hosts a quaint downtown as well as great parks throughout, such as the MKT trail.  When it comes time for the summer jobs, we are in very close proximity to many legal hubs such as Kansas City, St. Louis, Jefferson City, and even Chicago. My classmates and professors are truly some of the most helpful and friendly people I have met. I am really enjoying my classes and am excited for what is ahead as I am embarking on this great journey!
