Hello all! My name is Erika Harrison and I am a current 2L at the University of Missouri. I was born in Kansas City, MO but grew up in the great state of Texas. Hoping for a change of scenery I decided to head back to Missouri for the college. I received my BA in
History at the University of Missouri. While in undergrad I participated in many organizations including Judicial Peer Advisory Council, MSA Student Court and United Ambassadors to name a few. I loved every aspect of Mizzou while I was in Undergrad, from the organizations, sporting events, the beautiful campus and the community but I still felt that I needed to be sold on staying at the University of Missouri for law school.
When I began to weigh my law school options Mizzou quickly moved to the top. The University of Missouri Law School has a prestigious faculty that was beyond welcoming during the admittance process. This has held true since I have been a law student. Mizzou also provided great opportunities including over 30 law organizations. As a law student I have been involved with the Black Law Students Association, Phi Alpha Delta and Student Ambassadors. After completing my first year I realized that I made the best decision for me, I have met great people and have really learned a lot! If you have any questions feel free to email me!
