Gust Appointed as Probate Commission in 21st Judicial Circuit

William J. Gust, ’08, was appointed to a four-year term as probate commissioner in Missouri’s 21st Judicial Circuit by Probate Circuit Judge Ellen Levy. Gust fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Commissioner Robert Weis.

Prior to his appointment, Gust was a shareholder at Polsinelli PC. He has more than a decade of experience in trust and estate litigation and complex civil litigation. He has also authored articles relating to trust and estate litigation.

Gust is a member of the Probate Section of The Missouri Bar and is vice chairman of the Fiduciary Litigation Committee of The Missouri Bar. He was named a Rising Star by “Super Lawyers” from 2015-2018. He is also a current board member of the Young Friends of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. Gust previously served on the Young Friends Leadership Council of St. Louis Public Radio.
