Roy L. Richter, ’76, received the Judicial Excellence Award – Appellate at the Missouri Judicial Conference Legislative Breakfast on September 27, 2018. The award is one the Chief Justice Awards, presented by Missouri Supreme Court Chief Justice Zel M. Fischer.

Richter has served as a judge on the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District since 2006. He previously served as Juvenile Division judge from 1990 to 2006, and circuit judge for Montgomery County from 1979 to 2006.
