U.S. Senate Confirms Garrison as U.S. Attorney

Timothy A. Garrison, ’03, was nominated by the president and unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri.

The district consists of approximately 125 federal prosecutors, civil attorneys and support staff in Kansas City, Springfield and Jefferson City, and includes 66 counties.

Garrison previously served as a federal prosecutor in Springfield for more than 10 years.

In addition to his duties as U.S. Attorney, Garrison is a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, where he is Deputy Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon.
