Waldron Promoted to Partner

Jonathan Waldron, ’06, was promoted to partner by Lathrop Gage LLP. Waldron works in the St. Louis office and represents corporate clients and individuals in complex matters involving environmental litigation, construction and business litigation, and insurance recovery on behalf of insureds. He defends environmental claims, handles allocation matters, and initiates contribution actions for cost recovery associated with remediation of Superfund and other pollution sites involving polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), hydrocarbons, benzene, lead and various other chemicals and heavy metals. Additionally, Waldron handles matters involving product pipeline releases and hydrocarbon contamination of soil and groundwater stemming from historical oil refinery and/or petrochemical operations. Waldron also counsels clients in business litigation matters, including disputes concerning renewable biofuels and construction defect and design matters. He has successfully represented insureds to obtain coverage in insurance actions, and obtained awards of penalties and attorney’s fees when the insurance company vexatiously refused to timely pay on a valid insurance claim. In 2015 and 2016, Waldron was named to The Missouri Bar’s Pro Bono Wall of Fame.
