Ways to Give

Checks

Please make your contribution checks to the MU School of Law payable to the Law School Foundation. If you prefer to designate your gift for a particular area of need in the school, please include a short note with your check or indicate the designation on the memo line of your check. Contribution checks may be mailed to the following address: Law School Foundation, MU School of Law, 205 Hulston Hall, Columbia, MO 65211.

Credit Cards

The School of Law accepts Mastercard, Visa and Discover for your convenience. To make a donation using a credit card, the options are as follows:

  1. By Letter. Send a note or letter including your name, credit card type, account number, expiration date, billing address, a telephone number or e-mail address at which we can reach you if we have any questions, a signature, the amount you wish to contribute, and your preferred designation, if any. Donor correspondence may be sent to Law School Foundation, 205 Hulston Hall, Columbia, MO 65211.
  2. By Phone. Call the School of Law's Office of Development and we will assist you in making your gift over the phone. The telephone number is (573) 882-4374. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Central Standard Time.
  3. By Computer. Give online using the MU Web site and earmark your gift for your favorite program at the School of Law. Donate to MU Online.

Stocks and Securities

To make a gift of stocks or securities, please contact one of the School of Law's development professionals and we will assist you in the transfer process.

Matching Gifts

To encourage employees to make charitable gifts, many corporations will match personal donations with an equal or greater corporate contribution. Rules about the types and amounts of gifts that companies will match vary. Please check with the personnel department of your employer or your spouse's for particular guidelines.

Corporate Giving

MU's Office of Corporate Relations serves as a liaison between MU and the corporate community. Its primary functions are to identify areas of need and interest; establish and develop relationships between the company and MU faculty, researchers, students and staff; and build a partnership based on mutually-beneficial opportunities.
