 Open to all law students, the Mock Trial Competition provides students an opportunity to implement classroom theory through simulating the trial process. Teams of four develop a litigation strategy based on a given problem and then present their case before a panel of lawyers and judges. Mizzou Arbitration Success at Nationals

The Mizzou Law Arbitration teams had an extraordinary showing at the ABA National Arbitration Competition. Both Mizzou teams advanced to the championship round. This was the fifth consecutive year that teams from Mizzou Law have competed in the ABA Arbitration National Championship and the first time teams from Mizzou Law have finished in first and second place in a national tournament. Two-member teams of students acting as attorneys interview the client and provide a preliminary assessment of the client’s case.
