The Competitions
Most competitions consist of three rounds, with all competitors participating on the first night and the best teams moving on to the subsequent rounds.

Shughart, Thomson & Kilroy Fall Moot Court Competition - August
Open to only rising 2L and 3L students, the Fall Moot Court competition simulates the steps involved in the appellate process. Students write a brief on a given problem over the summer break and then have an opportunity to present their argument to a panel of judges the first week of the Fall semester.  The top 2L teams will present their arguments to a panel made up of current and former Missouri Supreme Court Justices in Jefferson City.
