The BOA coordinates the Mock Trial, Negotiation, Client Counseling and Mediation competitions that are open to law students, as well as the Fall Moot Court competition open only to rising second and third year law students. The BOA also works with the First Year Advocacy and Research Faculty to coordinate the 1L Moot Court competition.

Participation in BOA competitions is a great way for law students to receive “real world” experience as the competitions are judged by local practitioners and law faculty. The competitions also allow law students the opportunity to apply classroom education and problem solving skills to real world situations. They are also a fun way to meet other law students and get involved with your school.
