1st Day Assignment First Day Assignment

Our first class is Tuesday, January 16 and we will be discussing Dr. Martin Luther King’s “Letter From A Birmingham Jail.” Please read the letter sent to Dr. King and Dr. King’s response Both are attached.

After you have read the letters, please pick out 2-3 examples of Dr. King’s writing that you found to be particularly persuasive.

Please bring a copy of the letter to class on Tuesday with highlights or underlines of the parts that you found most persuasive.

Other Course Information Make-up Class and Class cancellation

We have a make-up on Wednesday, January 17 at 1 p.m. I will announce the room next week. We will not be having class on Thursday, January 18, since I will be traveling with the arbitration team to Nationals. So you know, we will discuss petitions/complaints on Wednesday.
