The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.
Although I'm from Kirkwood, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, I crossed the border and went to KU for my undergraduate. I majored in history, political science, minored in sociology, and was pre-law. I'm a rabid Jayhawks Basketball fan, but I returned back to Missouri to go to MU Law in order to be closer to home. I wanted to go to law school because I knew from my undergrad Constitutional Law classes that studying the law was interesting and challenging; I didn't want to settle for a stable but boring job.
