PROF. S.I. STRONG PUBLISHES ARTICLE ON JURISDICTIONAL DISCOVERY IN TRANSNATIONAL LITIGATION
Prof. S.I. Strong published Jurisdictional Discovery in Transnational Litigation: Extraterritorial Effects of United States Federal Practice, 7 Journal of Private International Law (2011), available at http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1739293. This article describes jurisdictional discovery procedure and discusses how recent US Supreme Court precedent provides international actors with the means of limiting or avoiding this potentially burdensome procedure.

ANDY GANGE TAKES ON NEW RESPONSIBILITIES AT HIS JOB
Andy Gange (LL.M. ’09), is the assistant coordinator in the Differentiated Case Management Office of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, and he recently became the staff mediator for the court in the Office of Family Mediation. Andy joined the circuit court early in 2010.

Shengming Zheng (LL.M. ’10) completed his internship with the US District Court for the Eastern District Court of New York and the New York firm, Sills Cummis & Gross, to become the Head of Dispute Resolution with the firm of Burkhardt, Boehland & Partners in Shanghai, China.
