PROF. S.I. STRONG SPEAKS ON INTERNATIONAL LAW IN DC
Prof. S.I. Strong spoke in Washington, D.C., at a symposium convened at American University Washington College of Law and entitled "International Law Bares its Teeth: How States and International Organizations Enforce Customary Norms and Treaty Obligations." Prof. Strong spoke on the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments as compared to foreign arbitral awards, particularly in the context of international class or collective suits.

Prof. Tal Zarankin (LL.M. ’03, PhD ’09) at Radford University, and Prof. James A. Wall Jr., MU Business Professor and Senior Fellow of the Center, presented a paper entitled, “The Effects of Previous Negotiators’ Performance, Negotiation Self-Efficacy, Cognitive Style, and Goal Orientation on Negotiators’ Risk Taking,” at the 23rd Annual International Association of Conflict Management Conference in Boston, last year.
