JAN. 8, WASHINGTON, DC American University, Regulations.gov, and the Environmental Protection Agency are sponsoring the E-Rulemaking conference in Washington, DC, at American University. Prof. Phil Harter will moderate a panel entitled "Will E-Rulemaking Matter? Performance Measurement in Rules and Rulemaking."

SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY STUDY ABROAD SUMMER PROGRAM
MAY 31-JULY 9, STRASBOURG, FRANCE Syracuse University invites students to inquire about its human rights and conflict resolution summer program. Set in Strasbourg, France, home to the Council of Europe, the program offers students an opportunity to learn about European approaches to human rights and the role of international organizations in resolving civil wars and military conflicts. DIRECTOR FOR MASTER OF SCIENCE IN CONFLICT MANAGEMENT, KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY
KENNESAW, GA Kennesaw State University invites applications for the position of director of its Master of Science in Conflict Management program. This is a 12-month, tenure-track position at the associate or full professor rank beginning in July 2004. Candidates must have either a Ph.D. or J.D. degree with experience and training in alternative dispute resolution. Application deadline: Jan. 7.
