There will be a memorial service for Prof. Tim Heinsz on Thurs. Sept. 23, at 1:00 pm, in Room 7. He served as dean of the Law School and director of the Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution. PAULA YOUNG PUBLISHES ARTICLE ON "VANISHING TRIALS"
Paula Young (’03) published an article in September for mediate.com, "As Trials ‘Vanish,’ Alternatives Play a Dominant Role in Dispute Resolution." Paula is an assistant professor at the Appalachian School of Law where she teaches ADR and legal writing.

MAY 19-21, COLUMBUS, OH Capital University Law School is soliciting proposals for its Second National Conference of Minority Professionals in Alternative Dispute Resolution: "Eliminating Barriers for Minorities in the Field of ADR." MEDIATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR AND FACILITATOR
The Mediation Center in Lincoln, NE, seeks a coordinator for its mediation program and a facilitator for its facilitation and training program. For more information see the binder in 206 Hulston. The coordinator application deadline is Sept. 30 and the facilitator application deadline is Oct. 15.
