JOSE RAMIREZ PUBLISHES ARTICLE ON ADR IN VENEZUELA
Jose Alberto Ramirez Leon (’05) published an article entitled, “Why Further Development of ADR in Latin America Makes Sense: The Venezuelan Model,” 2 Journal of Dispute Resolution 399 (2005). This article describes problems with the Venezuelan system of justice, recent ADR developments, and obstacles for further development of ADR in Venezuela, and proposals to overcome those obstacles.
CHRISTINE TAYLOR SHIFTS EVEN MORE FROM LAW PRACTICE
Christine Harris Taylor (’03) recently sold her law practice so that she can concentrate on her mediation practice and her work as assistant director of Marquette University’s Center for Dispute Resolution Education. She is now working to develop a curriculum for Marquette’s Dispute Resolution in the Workplace program.
