PROF. JOHN LANDE GAVE TALK TO MISSOURI BAR ADR COMMITTEE ON MEDIATION QUALITY
On May 9, Prof. John Lande gave a talk to the Missouri Bar Association ADR Committee
in Jefferson City on Improving the Quality of Mediation.

JIM REEVES APPOINTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF NEW COMMUNITY MEDIATION ORGANIZATION
Jim Reeves (LL.M. '04) was recently appointed interim president of the board of
directors of a new not-for-profit called Community Conflict Services of Metropolitan St. Louis. You

recently spoke on “Deals and Disputes: Negotiation Strategies for Corporate Counsel” at the
Corporate Counsel Institute sponsored by the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He will be
speaking in June on "The Art of Mediation Advocacy" at the Bench & Bar Conference at the Lake of
the Ozarks and providing an “ADR Update” at the 15-Hour Review of the Law sponsored by UMKC Law School.
