"After learning about it at an LSAC Conference, Mizzou Law had a different feel than other schools."
Larry believes that attorneys permeate some of the most intimate moments in people lives and fight to enforce their client’s rights and wishes when they cannot do so personally. Looking for a place to develop the legal skill necessary to allow him to affect change in people’s lives, he applied to several law schools and settled on Mizzou Law as the financial responsible choice. His time in law school has been much like everyone else’s — full of adaptation, stress, discovery and new friendships. Making a schedule and sticking to it allow him to balance school, work and married life. He has watched his fellow students change throughout their time at Mizzou Law, and by doing so, he looked within to redefine his own goals. Creating a new opportunity, Larry and a friend developed The Missouri Veterans’ Law Society, an organization he started with a friend that focuses on helping veterans with VA claims and expanding the interest in veterans’ legal issues.
