Why Civility Matters, presented by The Honorable Brent Powell, Missouri Supreme Court

March 19 @ 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm

As officers of the court, lawyers are called to be advocates for their clients, but this does not give them a license to advocate at any cost in any manner without regard to common decency and respect for others. Incivility not only leads to a negative public perception of lawyers, it is counterproductive to the administration of justice. The Honorable Brent Powell of the Missouri Supreme Court will provide his thoughts about this important topic.
