Professor Brad Desnoyer joined the University of Missouri School of Law after serving as a staff attorney at the Supreme Court of Missouri. Prior to his time as a staff attorney, he clerked for Judge Laura Denvir Stith of the Supreme Court of Missouri.
Professor Desnoyer is an experienced legal writer and has extensive training and experience as an author. He has written Batman comic books for DC Comics, provided research to The History Channel, and helped research and draft the New York Times Bestsellers Heroes for My Son and Heroes for My Daughter.
Professor Desnoyer graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, with distinction. He earned his J.D. at the University of Missouri, serving as an editorial member of the Missouri Law Review and graduating with honors.
At the School of Law, Professor Desnoyer teaches Legal Research and Writing, Advocacy and Research, Advanced Legal Writing, Advertising Law, Writers' Workshop, and Legal Reasoning. He co-coaches Moot Court and serves as the co-faculty advisor to the Board of Advocates. In 2013, he received both the Gold Chalk Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Excellence in Education Award.
