General Rules 1. The critical studies for the I Edition of the Contest will focus on the topics referred to in the introductory section. These topics can be approached from the perspective of any human and social science, and in particular from the disciplines of any of the nine groups of the Research Network. 2. Only those who by January 15th, 2018 have obtained their undergraduate degree, or have passed all courses required to obtain such a degree, can participate in the I Edition of the Contest. 3. The summaries that are due for October 31st, 2017 can be sent even if the requirement provided for in the previous paragraph is not met at that time. As long as such requirement is met by January 15th, 2018 (deadline for the submission of the full critical studies) is sufficient. 4. There is no limitation based on age or professional qualification to participate in the I Edition of the Contest. 5. The critical studies must be unpublished and cannot be co-authored. 6. The critical studies can be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese. 7. The critical studies shall be written in single space using Times New Roman 12 and APA 2016 guidelines.
