Hey guys this week’s resource is something we all can use. It is the “Legal Career Guide: From Law Student to Lawyer”, written by Gary An Munneke, and it is a book that can be found in the CDO. This is not a resource that lists jobs but it has all the tips and details necessary to job searching.

This book has a variety of topics. If you can think of it, Gary has written it. Gary is a professor of law and has been counseling law students about career searching since 1973, so he knows his stuff.

Some of the topics discuss in this book include planning a legal career, identifying your skills, different areas of practice and even the law school experience and the skills students get from law school. There is even a chapter that gives tips on how to apply to jobs that are long distance.

I think that this book can be helpful no matter where you are in your career and if you have the time it is definitely worth looking over. You can find it and check it out from the CDO. Until next time colleagues. Happy Job Hunting!
