Greetings friends and colleagues! I’m back once again to share my thoughts after browsing the website for the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA). It’s not the easiest website to navigate, but is packed with tons of useful information. The home page has a couple of videos that give a little insight into NLADA’s mission. NLADA has several conferences throughout the year and information on those can be accessed through the site. The annual conference will be held in November, and will likely be an excellent networking opportunity.
However, I’m sure what some of you are more interested in is how to search for jobs on the site. Well, there is a job search under the Member Resources tab. There are fellowships and internships available in various locations such as New York, California, and Washington D.C. Information on becoming a member of NLADA is also available on the website. As a member you may be eligible to be selected for the C. Lyons Fellowship program.
I definitely recommend checking the NLADA’s website out, and utilizing all the resources available!
