This week at Mizzou Law, Captain Joshua Oren from the US Army Judge Advocate General (JAG) program will be on campus Wednesday, September 11th.  He will have an Informational Session from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm in room 107 to talk with students who might be considering a career as a JAG Officer. Be sure to drop by and meet him!

On Friday, September 13th, come hear Dean Key in a workshop entitled ”The 2L Job Search:  Beyond OCI“. Did you know that approximately 90% of law students find employment other than through on-campus interviews? If you find yourself in this group, instead of being discouraged, come to the Courtroom from 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm and learn about ways to jump-start your job search.  Pizza will be provided so be sure to RSVP.

Are you a 3L interested in getting more hands-on experience?  Every year during Pro Bono Month in October, Mizzou Law in collaboration with Mid-Missouri Legal Services provides two clinics for underserved individuals.  On Monday, September 16th, come learn about the clinics planned for next month. To participate in the clinics you will need to be Rule 13 certified.  Monique Prince will be at the Informational Session to explain the process.  Join us at 1:00 in Room 3 to learn more.  Pizza will be provided so please RSVP through Symplicity.
