This week at Mizzou Law, first year law students have another opportunity to attend Part I and Part II of Boot Camp. From 5:00 to 7:30 on Monday, November 4th and Wednesday, November 6th, students will receive information that will assist them in their 1L summer job search. Boot Camp participation is mandatory in order to participate in the On-Campus Interview (OCI) program next semester. Please RSVP through Symplicity as dinner will be provided.
On Thursday, November 7th, at 1:00 in the Courtroom, the Recruiting Association of St. Louis invites students to an informational meeting regarding the 2014 Diversity Clerkship Program. Recruiters from two major law firms will be here to share tips about participating in the program. The purpose of the Diversity Clerkship Program is to expose first year law students from diverse backgrounds to the recruiting process, and to help students prepare to interview with legal employers. Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP through Symplicity.
Next week on Monday, February 11th at 1:00 in room 107, the Career Development Office will sponsor another Life of a Lawyer luncheon with David Franklin. Mr. Franklin is a Law Clerk with the Honorable Roy Richter, Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of Missouri. These events are an opportunity to network in a small group setting.
