This week at Mizzou Law, 1Ls are invited to attend the Crahan Fellowship Informational Program on Monday, February 3rd at 1:00 in the Courtroom. The fellowship will run for eight weeks following the completion of the first year of law school, and 1L students in the top 25% of the class are eligible to apply. The Judge Lawrence G. Crahan Memorial Judicial Fellowship provides a financial award for MU law students to serve as judicial interns to a judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. Come hear former fellows and Judge Glenn Norton (’85) explain the details of the fellowship while having lunch. Please RSVP through Symplicity.
On Wednesday, February 5th, at 1:00 in room 5, representatives from the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office will talk about the various PD offices around the state at the Missouri State Public Defender Informational Session. Public Defenders’ Heather Vodnansy, Tyler Coyle, Jeremy Pilkington, and Mizzou Law externs Salama Gallimore and Pat Nolan will be on the panel to discuss externship/internship opportunities that are available for the summer. Gina Hall, Human Resource Director for the entire state of Missouri, will be moderating the panel and will be conducting on campus interviews through OCI in early March.
Northwestern’s Tax Program offers you an opportunity to develop an expertise in all aspects of taxation through the LL.M. in Taxation program. Philip Postlewaite, Director of the Tax Program, will describe the curriculum and degree requirements and answer any questions that you might have at the Northwestern Law Tax Program Presentation on Wednesday, February 5th at 1:00 in the Courtroom.
