Halloween is Saturday… but we have a lot going on before you put on your new costumes and do the Monster Mash.

1L Boot Camp is finishing up this week.  Be sure to check out Symplicity to make sure that you have RSVP’d for all of the sections that you are supposed to attend.  This week we will be finishing up Dress For Success Men, the Cover Letter Workshop, the Resume Workshop and the Student Panel.   Don’t forget about Friday, October 30th, where Boot Camp will run from 4:30-8:30 with Mix & Mingle Survival Skills, Employer Panels and a Networking Reception.  Dress for Friday is Business.

This week we also will be having Life of a Lawyer: Reachel Beichley, on Wednesday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m. in Room 332A.  Ms. Beichley is the VP and General Counsel at MRI Global.  This event is limited so RSVP on Symplicity is REQUIRED to attend.

If you are interested in the foreign service, be sure and attend Life of a Diplomat: Robert Andrew on Wednesday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m. in Room 107.  Mr. Andrew is a Foreign Service Officer and Diplomat in Residence for the U.S. State Department and he will describe the foreign service and how a JD can be helpful.  For more information be visit Symplicity and don’t forget to RSVP.  Career Component Credit is available.
