Two Mizzou Law students recently attended the American Constitutional Society National Student Convention, “Brown at 60.” Mizzou ACS members Serena Karraker and Evan Richardson, both 1Ls, flew to Los Angeles and attended the convention at UCLA School of Law.
The convention’s focus was reflecting on the 60th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education and discussing the impact of other ground-breaking decisions. They also looked into efforts to achieve educational equity in the nation. The students were able to network with speakers and other ACS members across the nation.
Karraker and Richardson are both on the law school’s ACS chapter executive board for 2014 – 2015 as president and membership director, respectively.
