What lessons can be learned from the recent financial crisis? Could such a crisis happen again?
Dr. Randy Kroszner, professor of economics at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and former governor of the Federal Reserve System, will share his perspective in a fireside chat conversation on Friday, April 4, at 3 pm in the Courtroom in Hulston Hall.
This discussion, sponsored by the MU Liberty and Justice Colloquium, will center on why the Federal Reserve took the steps it did and whether the regulatory changes put in place as a response are more likely to prevent or to increase the likelihood of another financial crisis.
A public reception with light food and drinks will follow.
