Three Mizzou professors recently spoke at the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution’s Sixteenth Annual Spring Conference in Miami.
Prof. Carli Conklin presented at the Legal Educators Colloquium as part of a panel, “Historical Perspectives on Arbitration and Arbitration Law.”
Prof. John Lande appeared on two panels: “Planned Early Dispute Resolution: Can We Make It The New Normal?” and “You’re Shaping the Dispute Resolution Field Whether You Know it or Not.” He was also featured in a meet-the-authors session, where he discussed his recent book, Lawyering with Planned Early Negotiation: How You Can Get Good Results for Clients and Make Money.
Prof. S.I. Strong chaired a session on arbitration of internal trust disputes and participated in the International Committee panel, where she spoke about international commercial mediation.
