National Academy of Arbitrations Elects Dean Bailey as Vice President

Assistant Dean Bob Bailey was recently elected vice president of the National Academy of Arbitrators at its annual meeting in Chicago and was reappointed as the Academy’s Parliamentarian, only the third Parliamentarian in the organization’s history.  He was also appointed to the 2015 Program Committee.

According to its website, the Academy is a non-profit organization for arbitrators in the United States and Canada. Established in 1947, the Academy has been involved in “appellate litigation in both the United States and Canada where major issues affecting the institution of arbitration are involved.”   The Academy also collaborates on labor and employment issues.
