Mark Langworthy, ’90, the School of Law’s senior director of advancement, was recently appointed to the Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan Board of Trustees, pending the approval of the Missouri Senate, according to a news release issued by the Office of Gov. Jay Nixon, ’81.
The board of trustees “is responsible for the general administration and operation of the plan covering medical expenses of the employees and retirees of the state and participating member agencies, as well as eligible dependents and survivors,” according to the governor’s website. The board also handles financial duties and other responsibilities related to operating the plan.
If confirmed, Langworthy’s term will end in 2018.
