Prof. S.I. Strong recently had a number of articles published.
“Beyond International Commercial Arbitration? The Promise of International Commercial Mediation,” appears in 45 Washington University Journal of Law & Policy 11 (2014) and discusses the possibility of a new convention concerning international commercial conciliation.
“Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in U.S. Courts: Problems and Possibilities,” appears in 33 Review of Litigation 45 (2014) and discusses a variety of issues relating to foreign judgments, including a proposed federal statute that was drafted by the American Law Institute.
Finally, “International Commercial Arbitration: Coming to a Courthouse Near You,” which was co-written with Judge Judith Kaye, former Chief Judge of the State of New York, considers the increasingly incidence of litigation ancillary to international commercial arbitration. This third item can be found in 53 Judges’ Journal 20 (Summer 2014).
