Truman State University
Hello. I am currently a second-year student, or 2L, here at Mizzou Law. I am originally from Shelbyville, a small town in Northeast Missouri. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in management from Truman State University.
Just as I was sold on Truman State during my first visit to its campus, I was also sold on Mizzou following my first visit to the law school. After having the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff and current students, I realized there were many parallels to be drawn between my small undergraduate institution and Mizzou Law; not to mention the very competitive tuition. The class sizes here lend themselves to the same kind of personal interaction with professors I had come to expect, while the overall atmosphere of the law school had a sense of camaraderie I had not experienced when visiting other institutions.
Mizzou Law has deep connections in the state of Missouri, and if you know you want to practice in Missouri, Mizzou should be a natural choice. Its close proximity to Jefferson City is unrivaled by other schools in the state.
During my initial year, my decision to attend Mizzou Law has only been underscored by all of the positive interactions I have had with those within the halls of Hulston. Don’t just take my word for it – stop by and see why we’re the best choice for you.
