If you’ve come across this page, that means you’re interested in Mizzou Law! Congratulations on taking the first steps into finding the law school that’s right for you!

This is my first year at Mizzou Law, but my fourth year as a Tiger since I decided on Mizzou for my undergraduate degree as well. I studied journalism with an emphasis in television anchoring and reporting.

Originally, I’m from a small town outside Springfield, Missouri (the southwest region of the state). From the moment I toured Mizzou during my senior year of high school, I pictured myself going to Mizzou Law. I loved that Mizzou was founded in a rich history of tradition, camaraderie and academic successes.

Before I even began my undergraduate journey at Mizzou, I applied and was accepted into the MU Law Scholars program via the law school – a six-year program that allows you to finish your undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate a year faster than the standard seven years total.

Because of this program, I am still technically an undergraduate student, so you may see me around campus at the Missouri School of Journalism or on your television at the mid-Missouri NBC affiliate, KOMU 8! Mizzou Law has several dual degree programs available. I plan to use my degrees to become a legal analyst and specialize in communication law.

The process of applying to law schools can be stressful, but from my experience, the faculty and staff at Mizzou Law welcomes you with open arms. Community is important at Mizzou – students support and encourage each other, and the entire school is tight-knit.

I love being a Mizzou Tiger, and I want everyone to feel welcome as soon as they step on campus. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have; I’d love to hear from you and I hope to see you soon!
