Hello! My name is Paige Wheeler, and I’m a third year law student here at Mizzou. My life story isn’t the most fascinating, but I’ll give you a little background anyway.

I grew up in Wilton, Iowa, a small town located roughly 40ish miles east of Iowa City that there is a 99% chance you’ve never heard of. With that being said, I am a Hawkeye fan by birth, I am very proud of my Iowa roots, and I could probably give you 20+ recipes involving corn as a key ingredient.

I’m fortunate to have been raised by two loving parents along with my older brother, and to have grown up with a large portion of my family in close proximity. I had a very typical small-town childhood and graduated from the only high school in town with 63 fellow classmates whom I went to school with since kindergarten. I decided to attend college not too far from home at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, where I majored in Political Science and pursued my first love, Track & Field.

In August of 2015 I packed up and headed just a few hours south here to Columbia, Missouri, in furtherance of my dream of becoming a lawyer. I am currently in my final year of law school and have high hopes of attaining employment after graduating in May, preferably dipping my toes in the criminal justice system and finding work as a prosecutor.

As I am finishing up my time here, I find it to be a little bitter sweet. I knew immediately after visiting Hulston Hall that Mizzou Law was the perfect fit for me, and these past two years have further confirmed that sentiment. Although I’m finishing up my degree, I recall how stressful the decision of finding the right law school can be. If you have any questions or just want to talk about Mizzou Law, feel free to contact me. I would love to help!
