Hi folks. My name is Ryan Demore and I am a 1L at Mizzou Law. I am from Springfield, Missouri. For undergraduate, I attended Drury University – a private liberal arts college in Springfield, Missouri. While there, I was active in my social fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha, Student Government Association, and was President of Interfraternity Council. I triple-majored in Finance, Marketing, and Management. I knew from a young age that no matter the path and passion I found in undergrad, that the road would somehow take me to law school. Politics and legal studies have always been at the forefront of my interests.
When I was searching for the right law school, I was looking for a place that mirrored my experience at Drury – a place where I could get involved and expand my horizons. From the first correspondence I had with the admissions staff at Mizzou, I knew where I not only wanted to go, but needed to go. I did a quick cost-benefit analysis (finance major!) and realized that the reasonable tuition with the impressive reputation was going to be where I made my new home.
The application process can be a stressful time in your life, so if you need an empathetic ear, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns!
