The Course

The Course:
The course consists primarily of streets and sidewalks.  A unique feature of this course is the portion which crosses over College Avenue on the new pedestrian bridge.  The course is mostly flat, with a few gradual inclines—perfect for beginners and seasoned runners alike.

Start:
The start line will be located on Missouri Avenue directly in front of Hulston Hall, home of the MU School of Law.  From there, the course heads north on Missouri, west on Conley, south on Maryland, east on Hospital, north on Virginia, and then east onto the sidewalk by the new dorms.

Pedestrian Bridge:
At approximately the 1 mile mark, the course travels across College Avenue via the new pedestrian bridge on campus.  Please stay to the right as you travel up the ramp and across the bridge.

Trowbridge Loop:
After crossing the bridge, the route proceeds south/southeast along a sidewalk until it reaches Burch Road in the Trowbridge area.

Drink Station:
There will be volunteers present to hand out drinks at the half-way point, which will be in the trowbridge portion of the course.

Finish:
After crossing back over College via the pedestrian bridge, the route continues on sidewalk and then heads north on Hitt, past Rollins, then west on University, and then south on Ninth (Conley).  After making the final turn past speaker’s circle, the finish line will be at the intersection of Conley and Missouri Avenue.

Post-Race:
Please join us on the Carnahan Quadrangle (by Hulston Hall) for post-race refreshments, awards for our top finishers, and a few remarks about Tim.
