The Event:
In memory and honor of Professor Tim Heinsz, former dean of the MU School of Law and avid runner, the MU Student Bar Association is hosting the 4th Annual Tim Heinsz Memorial 5K Run/Walk with proceeds benefiting the Timothy J. Heinsz Memorial Fund.
Location and Date:
The race will start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2008 in front of Hulston Hall (west side facing Missouri Ave. and the Alumni Center), home of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. Please arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. Event will be held rain or shine.
Packet Pickup:
Packet pickup and late registration will take place in the sub-plaza of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law (Hulston Hall, Missouri Avenue) on Friday, April 18 from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 19 from 7:00-8:30 a.m.
Participants:
Come one, come all! The 5K Run/Walk is open to everyone! MU Law students, faculty and staff; MU Law Alumni; the Missouri Bar Association; students, faculty and staff of the University of Missouri; and the entire community. Dogs are welcome, too!
Participants will receive a Tim Heinsz Memorial 5K T-shirt and are welcome to join us for a post-race gathering with refreshments. Awards will be given to the top finishers in the 5K Run.
