Professor Brad Desnoyer joined the University of Missouri School of Law after serving as a staff attorney at the Supreme Court of Missouri. Prior to his time as a staff attorney, he clerked for Judge Laura Denvir Stith of the Supreme Court of Missouri. Professor Desnoyer has also written short Batman-related comic books for DC Comics and assisted New York Times Bestselling author Brad Meltzer.

Professor Desnoyer graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He earned his J.D. at the University of Missouri, serving as an editorial member of the Missouri Law Review.

At the School of Law, Professor Desnoyer teaches Legal Research and Writing, Advocacy and Research, Advanced Legal Writing, Advertising Law, Lawyering, Writers’ Workshop, and Legal Reasoning. In 2013, he received both the Gold Chalk Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Excellence in Education Award. In 2015, he received the Provost’s Outstanding Junior Faculty Teaching Award.
