The ELC serves as a go-to resource for innovators/ entrepreneurs seeking free* legal services to start-up new businesses or grow early-stage companies. The ELC provides MU Law students with hands-on transactional/IP experience. They can develop collaborative relationships with alumni and law firms to contribute additional expertise and support to the law students and the ELC clients. The ELC plans to offer workshops and boot camps, and develop relevant publications for entrepreneurs. In addition, the ELC will coordinate with the Center for Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship (CIPE) to support its goal of being a thought leader and scholarly resource on IP and entrepreneurship legal issues.
