Prof. S.I. Strong

The U.S. Department of State recently named Professor S.I. Strong as one of the United States’ National Correspondents to a key project run by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). The project, known as CLOUT (Case Law on UNCITRAL Texts), compiles judicial decisions from around the world on a variety of international instruments promulgated by UNCITRAL. Professor Strong, who specializes in international commercial arbitration, will be one of the people responsible for providing UNCITRAL with updates on U.S. court decisions concerning the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (the New York Convention) and the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Arbitration.
