Dean Lyrissa Lidsky was among the plenary speakers at Missouri State University’s 17th annual Public Affairs Conference. The conference theme was “The Power of Voice” and topics explored the importance of listening to others and using your voice to express yourself and advocate for others.

Dean Lidsky discussed how and why individuals and companies sabotage themselves on social media in her talk, “Social Media Self-Sabotage.” She also shared tips on how to use social media safely and professionally, based upon published research and teaching.
