Family Violence Roundtable: Multidisciplinary Solutions to Abuse

The Family Violence Clinic and the Women’s Law Association will host three roundtable discussions on contemporary theories addressing family violence on Wednesday, November 14.

The roundtables will focus on three areas: domestic homicide solutions; Missouri foster care and adoption initiatives in response to the opioid epidemic; and a multidisciplinary conversation about MU research and services related to abuse, including substance abuse. The purpose of these discussions is to explore multidisciplinary, evidence-based solutions to abuse, because only broad-based, data-driven approaches can adequately respond to family violence.
