Mizzou Law Librarian Cindy Bassett co-authored an article that appears in the January/February 2021 issue of AALL Spectrum, a publication of the American Association of Law Libraries. A Voices Across the Spectrum feature, the article, Tough Conversations about Race: Let the Book Start the Discussion, shares information about Mizzou Law’s One Read Program. It explains why it started in the fall of 2015, and how librarians can be resources to help communities to have difficult conversations about diversity and inclusion. The article also includes tips and resources for organizing book groups in organizations.
